You can remove the cover in situ, unclip it from around the cables then along its length, its not easy but do able. If your not happy doing that, disconnect the battery, remove the connector then take off the cover, insert the connector, connect the battery. A few month back the central locking stopped working. No door would lock,the radio would stay on and when you opened a door it would beep as though the keys were still in. I tried everything, batteries, resetting fob etc. the only thing that would work was disconnecting the battery for an hour, it would lock a Internal heater has stopped working, only blows cold air. This happened a few times before but it would usually start working again. This time though it seems to be staying cold. Engine isn't overheating and both pipes going to the heater matrix get hot so there is a flow of coolant going into the matrix.
