As for binge watching, I can kind of see where this list is going because HIMYM had a much more long-term storyline than Seinfeld. I think Seinfeld is incredibly rewatchable, but it can be taken independently versus binged. Lol, someone having a different opinion than you means that their opinion is terrible!
You're right, OP. While there were some dumb decisions in earlier seasons, season 5 was the first that was just overall bad (with some high points here and there). It was not only a piss poor adaptation (a mishmash of books 4 and 5, with most of the best parts thrown out), it was just bad on its own.
Season 4 was the most action-packed but had the weakest story imo. Season 3 was kind of the opposite to Season 4, it was quite slow and complex but had a solid story and a strong ending - it had its standout moments too. Season 1 was good but didn't feel so grand in scale as the other seasons, which makes a lot of sense being the opening season.

Oz: First season could probably be in top tier, and the other seasons in the second tier because it had some stupid archs and became a bit repetitive. Deadwood: Could be a top tier like Sopranos but it was cancelled after 3 seasons. I tell you, the protagonist here was as charismatic as Tony. Rome: Same as Deadwood.
Season 7 is only 7 episodes and season 8 is only 6 episodes. If we had gotten 10 full episodes for each of the last two seasons, that wouldâve been almost an entire season left unaired. These episodes could have been filled with more details that allowed us to feel the culmination of the the final episode and believe it.

I'm curious as to what this sub thinks of the show in general. I have a good idea how most people feel about season 7, but that's also the most recent season so it's been getting the most discussion. How would you rank each season? I'll provide my ranking, of course. 1 > 3 > 6 > 4 > 2 > 7 > 5

I have been saying since season one that this is not the place to debate or discuss the TV series. Please respect that. There are better places for such discussions: Westeros, Tower of the Hand, Watchers on the Wall, Winter Is Coming, the comments sections of the television critics who regularly follow the show: James Hibberd, Alyssa Rosenberg

Game of Thrones: The Telltale Series. Much like The Walking Dead: Michonne, this entry is one of the dullest entries in this list. Iâm going to say it, Iâve never watched Game of Thrones, or read any of the novels so this was my first introduction to the series. Iâve still never watched the TV series.
Parts of books 4 & 5 are actually adapted in Season 3 and 4. The Margery/ Cersei conflict for example the show really starts to set up in Season 3. Brienne's travels begin in Season 4. Dany is ruling Mereen by middle of Season 4.
